Girl Who Beat Cancer Twice Returns To The Same Hospital After 20 Years, But This Time As A Nurse

As we all know, Cancer is a life taking disease. But 24-year-old “Montana Brown” beat cancer twice in her childhood. When she was towed, she was diagnosed with a cancer of the Connective Tissues.

Montana Brown’s real-life story is totally amazing and inspirational. Her parents became shocked when she was diagnosed with cancer, at just age of 2. Parents took her to “AFLAC Cancer Centre/Children’s Health Care Of Atlanta.” in Atlanta, Georgio. After a year of chemotherapies, she got recovery and went back to her home. She went on to have a normal and happy childhood. When Moana reached high school, she had been active in Gymnastics and Competetive Cheerleading for years. But she got attacked again when she was 15. Then she went back to AFLAC for more chemotherapies and again survived successfully.

She fought with these difficult battles and survived. But these battles of her life inspired her and she set a goal for herself to become a nurse. Later she explained her story in news, “In AFLAC The nurses here were extremely loving and caring and compassionate. The love they showed me and my family in our time of need just really helped me.” She said, “It helped me want to become as kind and as caring and as compassionate as they were for me.”

Now after 24 years, Montana was there in the AFLAC as a Nurse. She believes that her difficult experiences with cancer can help her create a special bond with cancer diagnosed children, becoming a source of hope and inspiration for them. She said, “I really wanted to be that that can say Hey, I totally understand. This is where I was. This is where I am now.”

Montana’s empathy and experience bring her a ton of enthusiasm to her new job. “Never in a million years did I think that at the age of 24 I would have achieved my biggest and wildest dream to work at the hospital I was treated at as a child/teenager.” She writes on a Facebook Post, “It’s amazing and crazy and awesome and I’m so excited to work for such an inspirational organization.”
